Barcelona vs Porto – Champions League

Good evening everybody and welcome to another MARCA in English live blog, this time taking you through the Champions League clash between Barcelona and Porto from the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Barcelona will be hoping they can bounce back from a weekend LaLiga draw as Porto visit the city for a Champions League clash between Group H’s top two clubs. Both sit on nine points after four matches, and incidentally have the same goal difference, with Porto bagging one more over the group stage thus far.

In the last group match, Barcelona were beaten by Shakhtar Donetsk, so will be hoping it isn’t two in a row, though Xavi’s men were 1-0 winners in against Porto at the Estadio Do Dragao in October. Ferrari Torres for the winner on that evening.

Porto have won both their away matches in the Champions League this season, and are on a four-match away winning streak in all competitions. Barcelona’s form has been a bit patchy of late, with the Blaugrana winning three, drawing one and losing two of their last six games.
